My Experience with Namecheap.com
Hey guys, I just had to share this frustrating experience I had with Namecheap.com. Maybe it will save some of you from the same headache.
So, I was searching for a perfect domain name for my new project on their website. Finally, I found one that was available, and I was super excited. But it was late at night, and I thought, “Okay, I’ll register it tomorrow morning.”
Next day, I go back to their website, and guess what? The domain is no longer available for the normal price. Instead, it’s listed for sale at $2900! I was so pissed. It felt like they saw my search and decided to snatch it up just to sell it back to me for a crazy amount. This wasn’t the first time this happened either. Similar thing happened before, but this time it hurt more because this domain was perfect for what I needed.
I thought, “Okay, maybe customer support will help.” But nope, their support was useless. Responses were slow, and they didn’t seem to care about my issue at all. They just kept repeating their policies without actually helping me.
Seriously, I can’t trust Namecheap.com anymore. It feels like they’re just trying to exploit their customers. If you’re thinking about using them for domain registration or anything else, think twice. There are better options out there with fair practices and better support. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
